 Hello
again Cyber Travelers. I have missed each and every one of you that have
always been
using the avatars that I have created. With that said, not only would like to thank you all for stopping into
My little corner of the
Information Super Highway but I want to thank everyone that have supported
the site.
Pease
look around the site a little bit to see some of the new photos and other
images that have been added since last July.
Even though we have
been off-line, there has still been a lot of things
that have been going on behind the scenes. Our first change before coming
back online was to start from scratch and re-build our Avatar Library's so
the avatars are hopefully easier to find.
If you're returning to find
that your old avatar is no where to be found, please don't be alarmed as
most of the more popular avatars will be re-posted as time goes on so please
be patient while we re-build, and be sure to keep
coming back because sooner or later things will start changing more & more
and before we know it things will be back to normal soon, I Hope.
The reason we have
been off-line was due to the fact that our June 2008
plateau
that was averaging
a whopping 5.6 million hits per month which meant that we could no longer
afford the site as the avatars were
using so much bandwidth that they wanted to raise the current price of
bandwidth way too much to keep the site up and running and that is
unfortunately when our sponsor that had been with us since 2003, had heard
enough from the old host, and understandably backed out
of what would have been the 6th year of sponsorship. With all that said, we
would like to thank our old sponsor, (and they know who he is) for so many
years for faithfully sponsoring AvatarsByMas.com.
So Now, we are
hoping that the new host; 000WebHost.com will help in our endeavor to
provide Animated, and Un-Animated Racing Avatar images to my internet friends.
Before
I go, I'd like to thank you all for your support and we also thank you for
your patients while we go through these growing pains. Please take care and
we'll catch you on the flip flop.
